We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dataverse and D365 Architect with proven experience driving solutions architecture related to Microsoft’s Dataverse and D365 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions for Wipfli’s Dataverse deployments and D365 deployment (including related Sales & Service modules) that align with our business needs and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of Dataverse and D365 as a whole, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement Dataverse and D365 solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, high-performing and align within the firm’s ecosystem.
  • Customize Dataverse and D365 to meet specific business requirements, including the integration with other Microsoft Power Platform components and third-party applications.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for Power Platform development, including coding standards, version control, and documentation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, program and project leadership, and other developers, to gather requirements create detailed solution design documents, provide a variety of design options to stakeholders and deliver effective solutions to our users
  • Support other stakeholders and developers by breaking down designs appropriately and explaining how to meet the needs of the audience (technically as needed) and then break the work into executable deliverables for the delivery team
  • Identify and resolve issues related to D365 applications, identifying support dependencies with other applications / solutions where appropriate, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations
  • In collaboration with other architects, ensure proposed options and designs are in line with Microsoft and Wipfli best practices, balancing and weighing business requirements with best practices where required
  • Provide training and support to end-users and team members on Dataverse and D365 functionalities and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Business preferred
  • At least 10 years of proven experience of job-related technical experience, with recent experience related to Dataverse and D365 development and architecture
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Logic Apps, Power Pages and other components of the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Proven experience architecting solutions related to D365 Customer Engagement apps such as Sales and Service
  • Proven understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs, Angular/React, .NET
  • Experience with CICD Automation, DevOps Practices, etc.
  • Experience with data integration, including Azure services, SQL databases, and other data sources
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Pages preferred
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certifications preferred, specifically customer engagement apps.
  • Experience working with Scrum/Agile methodologies preferred

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $129,000 to $174,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
